Updating bios insufficient memory

Note: Some computer manufacturers have a feature called EBDA (Extended BIOS Data Area). If the motherboard has such a feature, then the controller that you are using may also have this feature. The two I've tried so far were for a Pro Book 6560b and a Pro Book 6570b.

The SP failed on the 6550b but completed successfully on the Elite Book 840 G4.Any modifications done to a BIOS with or without the aid of this document is completely up to the user.Neither I, the author, nor any other person contributing to this document can be held accountable for any loss of data, or failure of any flash procedure done. Some motherboards limit the available upper memory area; some do not have upper memory area at all and only support the use of extended memory. Some motherboard/system manufacturers will reserve this upper memory area for their use only, such as for USB or other proprietary I/O devices on the system.
